Mineral water "Essentuk source No. 17" is indicated for the treatment of the following diseases (outside the exacerbation phase):
chronic gastritis with normal and low acidity;

chronic pancreatitis;
diabetes;

When oral consumption stimulates the secretion by the parietal cells of the stomach of hydrochloric acid, therefore it is used as a therapeutic agent for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with reduced secrecy.

It is useful for balneological treatment of chronic gastritis and gastroduodenitis in children.
