The Remote Diagnostics Module for 6-220 kV Overhead Lines (RDM) is an autonomous electronic module that is installed directly on the 6-220 kV overhead line wire. It is designed for continuous collection and transmission of data on the wire condition and other values to the data collection server.
The module is placed directly on the monitored line and monitors the following parameters:
1. Current in the wire: from 0 to 250 A.
2. Wire temperature: from -35 to +150 degrees Celsius.
3. Sag angle: from 0 to 75 degrees.
4. Vibration frequency: from 0 to 200 Hz.
5. Vibration amplitude: from 0 to 50 mm.
The received data is sent to the server, where it can be viewed and analyzed by remote operator monitoring using the e-Energy web service.
The module also provides information on the following events:
1. Wire breakage in the anchor section.
2. "Wire dancing" or wire overlap.
3. Ice formation, which is displayed in kilograms of deposits.
4. Monitoring wire sag over roads and crossings.
5. Changes in the physical characteristics of the wire, such as a break in the steel load-bearing core, wire stretching, deviation of the insulator string from the vertical.
6. The module can be used to monitor the wire temperature when the line is overloaded or ice melts.
7. Records the fact and direction of a short circuit.
