Polyquaternium-7 is a chemical compound with a stable chemical structure. Polyquaternium 7 detangles hair very well and makes it easier to comb when wet. In addition, it will add softness and shine to dry hair.
Contraindications:
Individual intolerance. Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use Polyquaternium-7 products even on a daily basis as they are safe to use. May also be ideal for babies who have very sensitive skin. People with sensitive skin can also benefit from this chemical's conditioning properties on hair and moisturizing effects on skin.
Safety:
Polyquaternium-7 has been assessed by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Panel to be safe for use in cosmetics and personal care products. At concentrations higher than those used in cosmetics and personal care products, Polyquaternium-7 was not irritating to the skin and is not a sensitizer. May cause mild eye irritation that resolves within 24 hours. Not mutagenic.
